Hi there.

I joined Movellas at 14 years old, in 2013. Initially, I simply enjoyed the company of words, finding happiness being with so many talented authors and learnt so many different writing styles. I started sharing my own writings- poetry and fiction alike, made wonderful budding writer friends and even won a competition.

In 2015, all the life troubles of being a 16 year old kicked in. Dwindling grades, family issues and friendship problems took the best out of me and I lost myself. From 2015 to 2018, i've been on hiatus, and multiple times I had considered deleting this account because, well, what was the point?

The one thing that always held me back was my passion for writing. And that is the one thing I never lost, the one thing that held me together, and the one thing that kept me sane, through the insane sh*t I went through.

I'm 20 now. I've met amazing people, and have lost amazing people. I was at war with myself, and now have found peace.

During these years, I spent a lot of time in corners of rooms, scribbling lines that popped into my head, slowly realising I was in love with poetry. I still dabble in fiction every now and then, but poetry comes naturally, and I finally decided to return to share that where I started out.

Hey all my fellow movellians, and generally everyone who sees this. I’ve been part of an awesome group called NCS (National Citizen Service) which is set up by Salford Foundation to do social action projects, and believe me, it’s awesome.
So this may seem a little bit annoying, but for our social action project to take place, we will need you donations, and to be honest, as much money as you would care to give. The 14 of us are trying to raise money any way possible, so anything you can give, from £1 to £10 will be so gratefully received.
I’m from England, so we are thinking of renovating an area in Altrincham (Manchester) such as Stamford Park, Interchanges and Community Centres. We plan to use a totally non-toxic, biodegradable super hydrophobic spray that resists water. With the help of stencils, we can create invisible pictures and inspirational messages on the streets, and the special thing is, that when it comes in contact with water, the stencil will show it. It would brighten up someone’s day.
This project and basically my whole group means so so much to me, and I would be so incredibly happen if you took the time to read this and donate even the smallest amount. If you have any questions whatsoever, please don’t hesistate to message me, because I’d be more than happy to answer them so it’s more understandable.
Thanks, on behalf of my group for your time.
    Here’s the link to donate:

    THANK YOU!!!!

This sounds like an awesome project, and OMG! Katie :)
You've really outdone yourself here. I'll be sure to ask my friends & family to donate whatever we can towards this kickstarter. Good luck with the funding.

Changed it to me...why it's spun around I have no idea. I can't be bothered changing it so you guys will have to awkwardly either turn your heads or your devices around to see it properly. Enjoy doing that x

mumbled "How about a new movella about Care Kids."

I'm thinking about writing a new Movella named Care Home Kid, what do you guys think? As you can tell, its about care home kids and their experiences, kinda like Tracy Beaker in a way, but less adventure and more about their loves, although its gonna be fun coz its a care home, tell me what you guys think! :) xx

    mumbled "New Movella"

I'm thinking about writing a new Movella about a girl who's parents are about to get divorced, but she doesn't know which parent to live with, and it's tearing her apart.
Should I or should I not?!
